28号参与了2008北京残奥会圣火点火暨接力活动启动仪式的翻译工作。

 

仪式在天坛祈年殿（la Salle de la prière pour la bonne récolte）南广场举行了，前面是中国残疾人艺术团（la Troupe des Artistes handicapés de Chine）的精彩表演，杨澜和濮存昕主持的。正式的点火仪式时，很多中国国家领导人出席，有副主席习进平，总理温家宝，还有刘延东和周永康等。点火仪式由北京市长郭金龙主持，中国残疾人联合会（Fédération chinoise des personnes handicapées）主席邓朴方、国际残奥委会（Comité Paralympique International, C.P.I.）主席Sir Philip Craven、北京奥组委（COJOB）主席刘淇先后发言，中国残疾人艺术团的姜心田利用凹面镜（miroir concave）将引火棒点燃，后来金晶捧着火种盒（urne），最后由温家宝总理点燃的圣火盆（vasque）。此次火炬传递将延着两条路线传递：中华文明线（la Chine ancienne）和时代风采线（la Chine moderne）。9月5号和6号在北京传递。第十三届残奥会将于9月6日在北京开幕。

 

仪式的流程大体上就是这样，期间有两个地方让我最为感动，甚至落泪：一个是引火棒在凹面镜前燃起的瞬间，就像一个新的生命诞生了一样，那火苗一下就升腾起来，如果不是条件不允许，我会猛烈鼓起掌来。第二个地方是残疾人艺术家们演唱的《We Are The World》，就是1985年那个老版的，麦克尔杰克逊、莱昂纳尔·里奇等我年轻时喜爱的巨星们作曲和100名当时世界级歌星演唱那首歌，这首歌我听一次就感动一次，这是一首为生活在饥荒中的非洲人民谱写和演唱的歌曲，我在非洲的几年中就在很多场合听到过非洲的艺术家们演绎此曲。此次听到更是百感交集！

 

我觉得残奥会的“残”字还是挺刺耳的，看过一篇介绍，说这个para最早来自paraplégie（截瘫），因为最早是二战伤残士兵们自发组织的运动会，现在大家对para的定义是“à côté de”或者“parallèle”，就是说与奥运会“平行，并行”，所以中文翻译成“准奥运会”可能比残奥会更客气一些。残奥会的参与者在智力上都是和正常人一样的，而智障人士参加的世界性体育运动是特殊奥运会（Jeux olympiques spéciaux），上届世界特奥会是去年在上海举办的。
